R. Kelly attacked by fellow inmate

R. Kelly is said to have been put in solitary confinement after he was attacked by a fellow inmate inside a Chicago prison. Steve Greenberg confirmed Thursday that Kelly was attacked the day before. He said the individual entered Kelly’s cell and attacked him, leaving him with cuts and bruises. Greenberg also said he wants the court to release Kelly on bail because the prison system can’t ensure his safety. Kelly, 53, is in jail at the Metropolitan Correctional Facility in Chicago and faces charges in Illinois, Minnesota and New York stemming from alleged sexual abuses of underage girls. READ MORE ON ABC
