Opinion: Biden calling Republicans fascists is like the pot calling the kettle black

At a rally in front of Democratic donors, President Joe Biden called out those he labels as extreme Republicans, likening them to fascists.
Biden said: “It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the, I’m going to say something, it’s like semi-fascism.”
Biden often points to January 6, 2021, following then-U.S. President Donald Trump’s defeat in the 2020 presidential election and the mob of his supporters attacking the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. as proof of the extremism in the Republican party.
Biden says Trump-allied Republicans embrace violence and hatred, and lean towards “semi-fascism.” The GOP called the comment despicable.
Biden also said “I respect conservative Republicans. I don’t respect these MAGA Republicans.”
What is Fascism
When you look at the definition of fascism, the current Democrat administration can also be accused of demonstrating semi-fascism.
Merriam Webster dictionary defines a fascist a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.
Autocratic is defined as relating to a ruler who has absolute power.
Just this past week President Joe Biden single handed erased student loan debt. Despite speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi saying a year ago that the President does not have the authority to cancel debt, and even Joe Biden said he didn’t know if he had the authority to do it- he did it anyway.
Dictatorial leadership
In September of 2021 Biden mandated through an Executive Order requiring vaccination for all Federal Employees. He went even further and attempted to mandate large private companies must require their employees to be vaccinated. In January 2022, the Supreme Court blocked the Biden administration from enforcing its sweeping vaccine-or-test requirements for large private companies.
Putting race above the individual
In the last 2 years we have seen numerous examples of race and not competency or experience as the basis for administrative appointments. I can think of a few examples, Kamala Harris, Ketanji Brown Jackson, and Karine Jean-Pierre.
Forcible suppression of opposition
At this very moment former President Trump is under investigation by Biden’s DOJ/FBI over documents. Biden said unequivocally he had no prior knowledge of the raid. This Mar-a Lago situation isn’t the first time Democrats have tried to pin something on Trump aka the Russian collusion hoax and multiple impeachment attempts.
A centralized autocratic government
The Biden administration calling for a “New Liberal World Order”, and frequently referencing a “transition” that being to a centralized one world government.
JADED: So, to call the Republicans semi-fascists is kind of rich. Kind of like the pot calling the kettle black. The Democrats really have no room for name calling. Biden should fulfill his campaign promise of being the uniter in chief. Name calling and demonizing half of the country is only making political tension in this country worse.
