Cara O’Neal is a singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and teacher who was born and raised in the Houston, Texas area.

Cara has always shown a love for music. During her earlier years, she would sing for her family and at special events. She also participated in the school choir. This eventually led her to become one of the lead singers for an upcoming girl-group, TrulyUnique.

She is now stepping into her own as she breaks out into her solo career and is aspiring to bring back the old school sound with a new school vibe through her passion for R&B with pop and hip-hop appeal.

Her creative visions can be heard in the lyrics of her music such as ‘Heartbeat’ and ‘Loving You’. Her love for people drives her to create that sound that everyone can enjoy.

Her idealism is emphasized by the principle, “Find a reason to keep going and live your life…you only get one.”

Her musical passion is fueled by various artists such as Aaliyah, Brandy, Monica, TLC, Destiny’s Child, Mya, SWV, Lauryn Hill, Shirley Murdock, Chris Brown, Tupac, Michael Jackson, Usher, and Mario just to name a few.
