10/6/22 California News and Black Media Network — Issue #60
Hello everyone! Well, it’s been a minute since I chimed in. As some of you know I’ve faced humongous challenges health wise this past year. Because of that, I no longer do radio/tv or any media. From September 2021 thru Jan 2022 I was horribly disfigured by the rash of Dermatomyositis (a rare disease), and then in Jan 2021 I had a (myositis) muscle incident that left me weak in my torso and upper extremities. I also have associated Interstitial Lung Disease. It really didn’t seem like it at the time but I have survived !!
I was on 3 pills and infusions-now I’m down to 2 meds and an IVIG infusion every other month. Hoping this will continue to stabilize the disease process.
I think everyone knows this newsletter is somewhat irregular since I’ve been sick. I appreciate those of you still opening it. In fact I was just looking at the analytics and 2–3k open each one so I’m glad to still have some value.

IVIG#5 ..Instead of being all negative in my 1 year anniversary- I said look on the bright side. No rash in 8 months. No further muscle flares. My lungs don’t seem any worse. Overall I maybe loss 15% strength in my torso. I do suffer from fatigue, aches and pains but so much better than 8 months ago!

On Wednesday September 28, 2022, Twitter users logging in to the social media network saw an unusual topic trending across the platform. In the trending section was the N-Word all spelled out at the top of the Trends. Opening the thread on the subject revealed many Twitter users asking how is it possible that the word is trending? At the time of our screen grab there was no description listed for the trend, however, the word had 210,000 tweets.
